Transaction revenue (shared across all tiers)

Pricing questions
Frequently asked about cost.
How does the per-member pricing work?
On Standard and Pro tiers, you pay a monthly base fee (29,000 or 39,000 RWF) plus 100 RWF per active member per month. A cooperative with 500 members on the Standard tier pays 29,000 + (500 × 100) = 79,000 RWF/month. Inactive members (not logged in or transacted for 6+ months) don't count toward the active member fee.
Are there setup or onboarding fees?
No. The base monthly fee includes everything — data migration, configuration, training, and the first 90 days of guided support. We don't nickel-and-dime during onboarding.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. COPA is month-to-month. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. We'll provide a complete export of your data within 14 days of cancellation.
Do federations get volume pricing?
Yes. Federations onboarding 10+ cooperatives, SACCO networks, or multi-org programs get meaningful volume discounts. Contact sales for a federation-wide quote.
Who pays the per-member fee — the organization or the members?
The organization. Members never pay to use COPA. The 100 RWF per active member per month is paid by the cooperative, SACCO, or association itself — typically out of operational funds, subscription income, or cross-subsidized by transaction revenue.
What currencies do you accept?
Rwandan Francs (RWF) primarily. International partners can pay in USD via wire transfer. We do not currently accept credit cards — payments are via bank transfer or mobile money (MoMo, Airtel Money).
What about the transaction fees?
Transaction fees only apply when you actively use specific services. For payment processing via COPA, we charge 0.5–1%. For external loans we originate through partners like ComzAfrica, we earn 5–15% revenue share (paid by the lender, not your organization). If you run everything internally — internal savings, internal lending — there are no transaction fees beyond your base tier.
